Superintendent Dr. Brad Lancaster is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Kellner as the new Principal of Bee Cave Elementary School. She will begin her duties as Principal when the campus leadership staff returns in July. Ms. Kellner replaces Jennifer Andjelic who announced her resignation last month so that she can be closer to her family in Houston.
"I spoke with the BCE staff and PTO officers last week and their wishes were made very clear to me," said Dr. Lancaster. "Upon Ms. Andjelic’s unexpected resignation, they were adamant that Ms. Kellner be promoted to the principal role. Her extensive experience at Lake Travis ISD will allow for a very smooth transition for the students, staff, and parents of Bee Cave Elementary. I have every confidence in Ms. Kellner’s experience and abilities and believe she is the right person for the job."
Ms. Kellner earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas State University. She is an accomplished educator and administrator with more than 20 years of work experience in public schools, most of which has been spent at Lake Travis ISD. During her tenure at Lake Travis, Ms. Kellner has served in a number of roles including special education teacher and Assistant Principal at Lake Pointe Elementary School, ARD Facilitator, elementary summer school principal, Student Support Services Coordinator, interim coordinator of the LTISD Child Development Center, and Assistant Principal at Lakeway Elementary School. Presently, she serves as Assistant Principal at Bee Cave Elementary School.
